Booking Confirmations
Please check that you are registered to your event, whether live or on-demand. You should receive an email acknowledgment of Select Biosciences having received your registration application. If this does not arrive within a few hours of your booking please check your spam e-mailbox. If still not located then contact us.
Conference Program, Conference Date or Conference Venue Changes
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the conference program may change from that shown on the website at the time of booking. Select Biosciences reserves the right to alter the venue, conference dates and/or speakers and content at its sole discretion. No refunds are offered to delegates, sponsors or exhibitors under these circumstances, rather Select Biosciences will rollover a delegate registration or exhibitor/sponsor participation to another Select Biosciences of their choice at no extra charge.
Cancellation by Delegate, Sponsor or Exhibitor
Please be advised that subsequent to completion of booking (delegate booking, sponsorship booking or exhibitor booking), payments are 100% non-refundable. Select Biosciences are however able to transfer a registration to another person within your organization at no charge. Additionally, sponsorships or exhibit bookings can be moved to another Select Biosciences conference at no extra charge and with no penalty. Please contact Select Biosciences to make any changes or updates.
Cancellation by Select Biosciences
On occasion, due to lack of an economic number of attendees or other reasons, it may be necessary for Select Biosciences to cancel the event to which you are registered. We will endeavor to inform you of such a decision no later than 4 weeks in advance of the scheduled start date of the event in question. In this case our liability is limited to a full refund of any monies already received in respect of our registration. We will specifically not be liable for any travel or accommodation you may have booked in anticipation of attending the event nor any consequential expenses.
No Endorsement, Content and Speakers Choice Subject to Select
Biosciences Review, Approval and Updates
Please be advised that the choice of content presented at Select Biosciences conferences, choice of conference speakers, or of companies represented in the conference exhibit hall, do not constitute endorsement by Select Biosciences of any technology, platform, approach, regulatory clearance, or intellectual property (IP) position. Select Biosciences may choose content, topics, and speakers based on its industry analysis and tracking and has final say in choice of content, topics and speakers in all its conferences and events worldwide and may update conference content from time-to-time at its sole discretion.
Payment
Full payment must be made prior to the conference. Delegates, sponsors or exhibitors with un-cleared payments will be requested by Select Biosciences staff to provide full payment via credit card at the registration desk prior to admission into the conference.
All credit card orders are processed by the BluePay payment gateway and are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site and Select Biosciences takes data protection very seriously and therefore is in compliance with all security updates as mandated by the credit card processors as is customary in this industry sector and in compliance with industry standards.
Data Protection
Select Biosciences will hold your contact details on its database for use in contacting you about future events or promotions. It may also share these details with event exhibitors/sponsors as appropriate. If you do not wish to be included on this database please write to the Database Department, who will ensure your removal after any event which you attend as a delegate. Select Biosciences is in full compliance with the European Union's GDPR requirements on data protection and privacy.
Duplication and Recording
Photography, audio taping, video recording, digital taping, or any other form of duplication is strictly prohibited in the poster sessions, the exhibit hall, and in the session rooms. Photos cannot be taken of slides in session rooms without the presenters' written permission. This rule will be strictly enforced. Violators will lose their badges if found infracting this rule.
Use of Audio, Photo and Video Material
I grant permission to Select Biosciences and its agents or employees to use photographs and/or video and audio taken of me at the event. These images may be used in educational and documentary materials both printed and online and for event promotions in printed or electronic format. Furthermore, I authorize the use of my image, likeness, and voice for all program promotion, materials, and any other purposes in connection with the program deemed appropriate and necessary by Select Biosciences.
I hereby agree to release, defend, and hold harmless Select Biosciences and its agents or employees, including any firm publishing and/or distributing the finished product in whole or in part, whether on paper, via electronic media, or on Web sites, from any claim, damages, loss of profits, or liability arising from or related to the use of the photographs/video, including but not limited to any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction, or production of the finished product, its publication, or distribution.
Liability Waiver
I, as a conference participant, sponsor or exhibitor, agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking such participation in Select Biosciences events and activities of my own free will. I hereby assume all risks of personal injury and/or other loss, loss of profits, or damage arising out of or in any way associated with my participation in this event. I release to the fullest extent permitted by law, Select Biosciences and any of its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, agents or other representatives, successors, assigns, and all others acting on their behalf (collectively referred to herein as the "Released Parties") from any and all responsibilities, claims, expenses, personal injury, wrongful death or liability for injuries or damages of any kind resulting from or in any way arising out of my participation in any event organized by Select Biosciences. I grant permission to Select Biosciences and its agents or employees to use photographs and/or video and audio taken of me at the event. These images may be used in educational and documentary materials both printed and online. Furthermore, I authorize the use of my image, likeness, and voice for all program promotion, materials, and any other purposes in connection with the program deemed appropriate and necessary by Select Biosciences.
Force Majeure
Select Biosciences is not responsible for conference disruptions due to fire, flood, volcano, acts of God, epidemics, pandemics or terrorism which may affect the execution of a Select Biosciences conference or travel to/from a Select Biosciences conference and no refunds of delegate, sponsor or exhibitor fees can be offered under these conditions.
All speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors agree to hold the Released Parties harmless against any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred in defending such claims directly or indirectly resulting from, or in any way arising out of or related to any participation in a Select Biosciences event. All speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors acknowledge that their participation in a Select Biosciences conference is expressly conditioned on their agreeing to the foregoing.
This contract is prepared, interpreted and enforced in accordance with California Law.
